Keane Harvey Obituary   Birth:  Sep. 30, 1948 South Bend St. Joseph County Indiana, USA Death:  Nov. 23, 2013 South Bend St. Joseph County Indiana, USA Keane Harvey passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, following a lengthy illness. Keane was born and raised in South Bend, IN., to the union of Peter L. Harvey and Gloria Harvey Foster. He graduated from Central High School and attended college at Coffeeville, Kansas, with a basketball scholarship. He was employed at Bosch, then known as Bendix, and Raco in South Bend, IN. Keane leaves to cherish his memory his father, Peter L. (Rosie) Harvey; two daughters, Shebra H. (Lawrence) Evans of Silver Spring, MD (through the union of Juanita Harris), and Carmen Benton of Riverdale, GA; three sisters, Devene Smith of Indianapolis, IN, Cherry Tillman of South Bend, IN., and Nina Porter Coley of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Dana Tillman and Dion (Valerie) Tilman of South Bend, IN; one uncle, Samuel Harvey of Denver, CO; two aunts, Modest (Elmer) Lloyd and Virginia (Frances) Reid, both of South Bend, IN; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, whom all were special to him. Keane was preceded in death by his mother, Elder Gloria Foster, and his brother-in-law, Richard H. Smith.
