ORMOND BEACH, FL - Frank J. Karmolinski, 88, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016.

Frank was born December 26, 1927, in South Bend, to the late Frank and Blanche (Jaworski) Karmolinski. Frank was married to his first wife, Henrietta (Kominkiewicz) for 25 years, she preceded him in death in 1978. He then married Mary (DeWitte), they were married for 35 years, she preceded him in death in July 2014. Frank was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Karmolinski.

Survivors of Frank include his children, Bruce (Diane) Karmolinski of Ormond Beach, FL, Debbie (Stan) Paluszewski of Florissant, MO, Diane (Ed) Ball of South Bend, and Doreen (John) Coop of South Bend; grandchildren, Bradley Karmolinski, Steve & Kyle Paluszewsi, John & Gordon Ball, Tabitha Karmolinski and Tonya Coop; great-grandchildren, Blayne and Renee Karmolinski and Elizabeth Ball; stepchildren, Richard (Rick) Lee Fisk, Jr. of Niles, and Julie Ann Derda of Lancaster, SC; step-grandchildren, Tanya Hurtado of Tampa, FL, Brett Fisk of Niles, MI, and Adam Derda of Niles, MI.

Frank was a graduate of Central High School. He honorably served his country in United States Army. Frank was employed with Studebaker's for a few years and retired from the United States Post Office after 30 years where he was a letter carrier. In July of 2000 Frank made his home in Port Richey, Florida, and in 2014 he moved to Ormond Beach, Florida, where he spent his remaining years. When in South Bend Frank was an active parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

He was a parishioner of St. James Catholic Church in Port Richey, FL, where he served as an usher. Frank was 3rd. Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Father Farrell Council #6476, a member of the Polish Legion of the American Veterans (PLAV), and the Polish American Social Club of Pasco County, Hudson, FL. Frank enjoyed bowling and was a member of the of the 700 Club. He also spent many weekends on the golf course with family and friends. One of his greatest vacation spot was Sanibel, Florida, which he had hoped to visit one more time this June for the Kominkiewicz Family Reunion; he will be missed.

Visitation for Frank will be 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Memorial Service to begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
