Marilyn Sue (Campbell) Czarnecki

Marilyn "Sue" (Campbell) Czarnecki, 82, of Westville, IN,  passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. She was born August 15, 1931 in New Carlisle, Indiana to Donald and Irma (Clark) Campbell. She graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1951. 

On January 30, 1954, she married Eugene F. Czarnecki who survives. Also surviving are her sons Donald (Iva) Czarnecki of Charlotte, Michigan and James Czarnecki of Westville, two grandchildren Emily and Kasey, two great grandchildren Candice and Jasmine of Lake Station, seven sisters, Miriam Van Dusen, Phyllis Tegman, Donna Priebe, Grace Smith, Mary Thompson, Priscilla Wolfe, and Joanna Starner.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her daughter Deanna Carpenter, her granddaughter Angela Corral and her grandsons Albert and Denny Corral.

Marilyn was a member of the Westville United Methodist Church. A memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 31st at the Newhard Funeral Home in Westville. Pastor Daniel Cho will officiate. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 until the time of the service.

Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and daughter in the Campbell family. She endured hearing loss from birth along with a hole in her heart. At the age of 2, she survived heart surgery. After graduating from Central, Sue married Gene Czarnecki. Soon after, they went to Germany while Gene served in the Army. Children: Dennis(deceased), Don, Deanna (deceased), Jaqueline (deceased), and Jim Of the eight Campbell girls, Sue gets the award for being the most funny!!
