CAROL M. KOTOLINSKI

SOUTH BEND - Carol M. Kotolinski, 72, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana. She was born to the late Bert and Henrietta (Superczynski) Kotolinski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident.

Carol graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1958, where she played volleyball and was a member of the swim team.

Ms. Kotolinski worked as a Private Secretary at the Bendix Corporation and then in the Alumni Donations Department at the University of Notre Dame. Carol is survived by her brother, Gene (Betty) Kotolinski of North Liberty, IN, and a niece, Jaime (Dave) Reinbold of Bolingbrook, IL.

She was a member of South Bend Central High School Girls Athletic Association and past president of the Central High School Honor Society. Carol was an Alumnus of Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. One of her passions was creating, designing and making floral arrangements.

Carol's family would like to thank the staff at Healthwin Specialized Care Facility for their exceptional care which they provided Carol for the years she spent there. Her family also thanks Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana for making Carol's last days comfortable.

There will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
