James Harry Panos

James Harry Panos

Aug. 8, 1946 - July 6, 2017 MARTINSVILLE, IN - James Harry Panos, 71, of Martinsville, IN, passed away July 6, 2017, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.  He was born August 8, 1946, to the late Harry and Angeline L. (Lamberson) Panos.  Jim is survived by one brother, John (Nancy) Panos of Lafayette, IN; and cousins, John Lamberson of Sara Rosa, FL, and Harry Lamberson of Naples, FL. Jim was a freelance sign painter and a very free-spirited person. He never went anywhere without making a friend. He had a fierce passion for cool cars, Notre Dame football, NASCAR and the Indy 500. Jim also shared so much passion for life itself. Jim battled lung cancer but became a firm believer in the health and medical benefits of CBC Oils, giving him more time with us prior to his accident.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Jim's good friend, Nick Thanos, will hold a small memorial service to celebrate his life on Thursday, Sept 7th, at 4:30 p.m. Please call Nick Thanos 269-362-2033 for more information and to RSVP. McGann Hay, American Cremation Society, assisted with arrangements.

Thanks. He was a best friend. He lived with me a couple of times. Just friends. He had terminal lung cancer. I think it was best he went this way. Go to his fb page. He was broke, dying. He had no one. I moved in with himl in FL. He had suggested we get a house together. I let him down in a way.
