Sharon Ann Huber

Sharon A. Huber, 68, residing in South Bend, passed away at 7:20 pm Saturday, September 1, 2012 in Memorial Hospital. She was born in South Bend on March 31, 1944 to the late Glenn and Opal (Blower) Wesner, and remained a lifelong area resident. On July 26, 1975, Sharon married Glenn W. Huber, who survives.
In addition to her loving husband, Glenn, Sharon is survived by her mother in law, Betty Huber of Mishawaka.
Sharon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Bethel College, and then earned her Master's in Music from the University of Notre Dame. She retired after 23 years of teaching music from the Niles Community School Corporation. Sharon was a member of Clay Church.
Funeral services for Sharon will be 11:00 am Friday, September 7, 2012 in Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Rev. Herb Buwalda and Rev. Jim Elrod, of Clay Church, as well as Rev. Don Francis, of Gospel Center Missionary Church, will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, September 6, 2012 in the funeral home.
