Lorraine Irene (Jamrozy) Kelly

Lorraine Irene Kelly, 85, of South Bend, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at home during the early morning hours of April 17th. Lorraine was born to Walter and Irene (Wolak) Jamrozy, on September 7, 1938, in South Bend. She was a graduate of South Bend Central High School Class of 1956.

She then married the love of her life, James Kelly on December 11, 1956 in South Bend. They shared 67 years together. She enjoyed working word puzzles, spending time outdoors planting flowers and gardening. Yet her greatest joy came from spending time with Jim and her family and friends.

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Jim along with her siblings, Jaunita Jamrozy of Mishawaka and Jerry (Bonnie) Jamrozy of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Joseph and Kenny.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22nd from 4-7:00pm in the Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, 23421 S.R. 23, South Bend, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. A Service celebrating Lorraine’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Vito Rulli officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery of South Bend.
