Kenneth D. Blount

SOUTH BEND - Kenneth D. Blount, 70, was born on October 2, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to the union of Helen O. (Snyder) Blount and George W. Blount Sr.

Kenneth departed this life on June 22, 2018.

Kenneth was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a U.S. Postal Service retiree.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Shirley; one son, Kenneth M. Blount; stepson, Greg Tate; a sister, Vicki Blount; and brother, George W. Blount Jr. Seven grandchildren also survive him.

There will be a visitation for friends and family on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greater St. John M.B. Church, 101 N. Adams Street, South Bend and from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time Saturday morning at the church.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
