Marjorie Ann (Wilson) Jones

Marjorie Ann (Wilson) Jones, 80, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.

She was born Oct. 4, 1922, in Indianapolis. Her parents were Harlen and Clara Mae (Underwood) Wilson. She married Loy D. Jones on June 19, 1948, in South Bend. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, David Jones of Speedway and Steven Jones of Greenwood.

She graduated from Ohio Weslyan University with a degree in teaching and from Indiana University with a master's degree in library science.

She was employed by Southport Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis as a librarian for 10 years. She was previously employed as a school teacher in Goshen for 20 years.

She was a member of Southport Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Kappa Delta Pi honorary sorority and Beta Phi Mu honorary sorority.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Southport Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. Arrangements are being handled by G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home in Indianapolis.
