William L. Urgonski

William L. Urgonski, 58, of 1710 N. College, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an unexpected illness. He was employed as a supervisor in the aircraft division at the Bendix Corp. for five years. Born Sept. 22, 1922, in New Carlisle, he had lived in South Bend all of his life.

n June 8, 1946, in South Bend, he married Emma Bella, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Gary Stephen and Terry Allen, both of West Newton, Mass.: and a brother Robert of South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rev. Leonard Chrobot, his nephew, will officiate.

He was a World War II veteran, a member of VFW Post 8748, the Bendix Management Club, National Management Association, the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, Inc., and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
