MARY E. (TURNOCK) SANDUSKY

SOUTH BEND - Mary Ellen (Turnock) Sandusky, 85, of South Bend, formerly of Osceola, died Monday morning, May 21, in the Milton Home. Mary Ellen retired from Raco Products, South Bend, as secretary to the president. She was born May 14, 1922, in South Bend, to Thomas and Verna (Hickey) Turnock. Surviving are several cousins including Gertrude Finneran of South Carolina, Sister Paul Marie, CSC, and Louis Krueper, and close childhood friends.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of South Bend Central High School, class of 1940.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, in St. Joseph Catholic Church (Hill and LaSalle streets) South Bend. Interment will take place at a later date at Highland Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until services Thursday in the church. The HICKEY Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., is in charge of arrangements.
