Mrs. Wanda Ann Pietrzak, 51, of 19279 Marion Ave., died at 2:42 a.m. today in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis, after heart surgery. Born Feb. 18, 1923, in Hammond, she resided here most of her life.

On Jan. 18, 1941, in South Bend, she was married to Raymond (Pepper) Pietrzak, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Higgins of New Carlisle, Ms. Julianne Fine of St. Joseph, Mich., and Mrs. Jane King of South Bend; six grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Helene Janowski and Mrs. Jane Jelinski, both of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Welsheimer North Chapel, 52803 U.S. 31 N. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Rev. Kenneth Maley. C.S.C.. pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. She was a member of the Christ the King Church and the VFW Auxiliary, Hud-son Lake. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
