Jane Pearson (Shirk) McCulloch

Jane Pearson McCulloch (nee Shirk) age 92 years, passed away Saturday May 16, 2015 at Cedar Community in West Bend. She was born on September 23, 1922 in Gary, Indiana to Joel and Mary (nee Pearson) Shirk. She later met and married James “Bill” W. McCulloch and they were married on October 28, 1946 in Gary, Indiana.

Dear mother of Maryanne (John) Plant. Loving grandmother of Ellice Plant, Joel (Margo) Plant, Christopher (Tiffany) Plant and Katie (Nolan) Erdman. Great- grandmother of Milo, Oliver and Oscar Plant and Elsa and Eleanor Erdman. Further survived by sister-in-law Norma Shirk, cousin Sue (Jack) Marsh, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, her brother Charles Shirk, 1 brother-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.

Jane enjoyed knitting, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was very involved with the Christ Child Society and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary in South Bend, Indiana.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana.

Memorials to the Cedar Community Foundation are appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Community for all their care for Jane and also Holy Angels Church for all the support they gave to the family.
