Duane J. Shenenberger

SOUTH BEND — Duane J. "Skeets" Shenenberger, 71, of Oak Park Drive. died at 3:45 p.m. Friday in his home. He retired from the Morris Inn. He was born May 24, 1921, in Crumstown and lived in this area most of his life.

On Sept. 5, 1941, in South Bend. he married Margie M. Chartier. She survives with four daughters. Linda Zimmerman and Pamela Horvath. both of South Bend, Michele Horvath of Mishawaka and Diane Jester of Tampa. Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother. Donald Shenenberger of Tennessee.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St.. Joseph County.
