ROSELLA B. (RODOCKER) KOSZEWSKI

KOSZEWSKI, Rosella B. - Of Genesee Township, age 87, died Friday, August 7, 2009 at Avalon Hospice in Flint. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Rosella was born July 7, 1922 in Huntington, Indiana the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Grace (Heck) Rodocker.

Rosella graduated from South Bend Central High School, Class of 1940.

She and Fred (Shadow) Koszewski were married for 33 years until his passing in 1999. Rosella was employed at the Herb Shop from 1999 to 2004. She enjoyed sewing, playing the LOTTO and most sports, particularly the University of Notre Dame. Rosella was a most kind and loving mother and had dozens of close, loving friends from coast to coast.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert A. Leets and his wife, Judy, grandson, Scott (Teresa) Leets of E. Kentwood, Michigan, granddaughter, Wendy (Andy) Kirkland of Daphne, Alabama, great-grandchildren; A.J. Kirkland, Ryan Leets, Kara Kirkland and Kaylee Kirkland, step granddaughters; Pam (Curt) Pully and Tonya (David) Harper, and several nieces and nephews.

Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters; Sylvia and Cecelia, brother, Art, and her beloved dog, Mollie.
