Robert N. Osborn, Of Riverside, California, passed away April 27, 2006. Robert was born in South Bend, Indiana, on April 20, 1923. He attended Notre Dame University. He interrupted his studies to serve in the United States Marine Corps in the South Pacific in World War II. After the war he attended and was graduated from Ball State Teacher's College in 1949. He obtained his Master's Degree in Education from the University of Arizona at Tempe. He taught in the Riverside Unified School District for 32 years first at Chemawa Middle School and later at Ramona High School.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Dorothy, his sons David and Thomas, his daughter-in-law Susan, three grandchildren, Ashley, Alissa and Zachary, and one great-grandson, Kingston.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, California. Telephone: 951-688-1221.
