Stephen A. Megyesi

June 10, 1922-Nov. 21, 1992 SOUTH BEND

Stephen A. Megyesi, 70, of 1341 Squire Drive, died at 1 p.m. Saturday in his home. He retired in 1986 from AM General following 12 years of service. He was born June 10, 1922, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 4, 1943, in South Bend, he married Doris Turpin. She survives with four sons, Richard of Rocky Mountain, N.C., Robert of Billings, Mont., Thomas of Merrillville, Ind., and Michael of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gene of Orlando, Fla., and Robert of Fullerton, Calif.

He was a member of Studebaker Drivers Club and Studebaker National Museum.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Zahoran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
