Col Jack C. Haslanger 

Col Jack C. Haslanger, age 61, of Austin died Saturday. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. He received his MBA from Michigan State University. He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi fraternity, the Retired Officers Association and Eagle Association of Austin. He was a pilot in WW II and the Korean conflict, then went to Washington where he was Chief of Research Analysis for the USAF. He then was Director of Analysis for the Air Force in Europe.

After his retirement, with many decorations, he was the Administrator of the Differed Compensation Plan for the State of Texas. Also, he was past president of the National Association for the States Deffered Compensation Plans. He is survived by his wife, Sigrid G. A. Haslanger, Austin; mother, Helena Haslanger. Austin: daughter, Leah Ann Thompson, Los Angeles, California: son-in-law, Patrick Thompson. Los Angeles, California; sister, Eleanor Boone. Los Angeles, California.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday from Weed-Corley Funeral Home with Pastor John Auer officiating. Burial with full military honors. Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, San Antonio. Anyone desiring to do so may make a donation to a favorite charity. Arrangements by Weed-Corley Funeral Home.
