Ralph Allen Fell

SOUTH BEND — Ralph Allen Fell, 67, of 1749 Adams St., died at 7:01 p.m. Sunday at his home after an illness. Mr. Fell retired in 1987 from Western & Southern Insurance Co. He was born Jan. 16, 1922, in Ober, Ind., and lived in South Bend most of his life. On Nov. 17, 1942, in South Bend, he married Lois E. Goddard, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Vickie Lynn Caring of South Bend; a son, Michael A. of South Bend; two grandchildren, Andrew M. Gating and Amy Lynn Caring; and a sister, Ruby Warren of South Bend. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 56 years and was a veteran of World War II. 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the American Heart Fund.
