Ruth L (Curran) Rohleder

April 4, 1921-July 30, 1990

MISHAWAKA — Ruth Louise Rohleder, 69, of 64701 Redwood Road, North Liberty, formerly of Mishawaka, died about 7:30 p.m. Monday at the home of her son, with whom she made her home. Mrs. Rohleder retired in 1984 from the former Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. She was born April 4, 1921, in Mishawaka and was a life-long area resident.

On Nov. 21, 1940, in Mishawaka, as Ruth Louise Curran, she married Kenneth A. Rohleder. He died March 18, 1982. Survivors include a son, Jerry K. of North Liberty; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie McMann of Tucson, Ariz., and Virginia Lochmandy of South Bend; and three brothers, Herbert J. and Robert Curran, both of South Bend and Richard Curran of Kokomo. She was a member of Julianna Club of Wheelabrator-Frye Corp. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and7 to 9 p.m. today at Thallemer Goethals Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association.
