CHARLES O. WILLIAMS

Charles Otis Williams April 27, 1920 - Jan. 25, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Charles O. Williams, 94, of South Bend, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born April 27, 1920, in Plymouth, IN to the late Otis L. and Irene N. (Locher) Williams. On July 3, 1948 he married Evelyn R. Wurster who died September 15, 2005. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Jean Young.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles Lynn Williams (Julie) of Culver, IN.

Charles retired from the Bendix Corp. after 41 years' service as a process Engineer in the Energy controls division.

He graduated from South Bend Central High School and served in the United States Army during WWII.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd., where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in memory to the F.O.P. or the American Heart Association.
