Samson Eder
Samson Eder, 65, of 3611 Evesham Court, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born May 15, 1919. in Cleveland, Ohio. he had lived here most of his life. He was the semi-retired chairman of the Acme Service Corp., and former president of South Bend Window Cleaning Co.
In 1943. in South Bend, he married Beatrice Washun, who survives, with a daughter, Linda Sumner. of South Bend: two sons, Robert Eder of New York City and Charles D. Eder of South Bend: six grandchildren: a sister, Jean Bathe of LaJolla, Calif.: and a brother, Theodore C. Eder of Beverly hills, Calif.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Mr. Eder was a 1942 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, a member of Temple Beth-El, of the Elks, of the Phi Sigma Epsilon Fraternity, and of the B'nai B'rith.
