Herbert L (Bud) Summersgill
Herbert L (Bud) Summersgill, 81, of 19402 Orchard, died at 3 a.m. today in Healthwin Hospital following an extended illness. He retired from the Bendix Corp. where he had worked for 30 years. He was born on Nov. 21, 1920, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.
On Dec. 28, 1941, in South Bend he married Lorraine Drelbelbis who survives. Other survivors are a son, Herbert I.. of South Bend; three grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Ruth Fritz, Mrs. June Underwood and Mrs. Betty Andrick, all of South Bend; and two brothers, Raymond of Si Petersburg, Fla., and James of Melbourne, Fla.
Private services will be held Wednesday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Daniel Cavinder, pastor of the First Bretheran Church of Mishawaka, officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9
