Kenneth served as a First Lieutenant on B-24D "Liberty Lass" #41-23732, 409th Bomber Squadron, 93rd Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in St. Joseph County, Indiana prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on October 2, 1941, prior to the war, at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as an Actor and also as Single, without dependents.

Kenneth was "Killed In Action" when his B-24 was shot down and crashed near Plouarzel, north west of Brittany, France during the war.

He was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart.
