MARIE MILLER

PLYMOUTH - Marie Miller, 97, of 222 Parkview Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007, in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth. Marie was born on July 16, 1909, in Thomaston, Indiana, to Herman and Atilla (Hawkins) Boldt. On October 14, 1928, Marie married Stanley Miller, who preceded her in death. Marie lived most of her life in the South Bend, Indiana, area.

She graduated from South Bend Central High School.

For a short period of time she worked for the Studebaker Corporation. She then became a full-time homemaker and helped on the family farm.

Marie is survived by her son, Richard, and Jeanie Miller of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Vickie Hunter, Patty and Ken Alwine, and Jon and Debbie Miller; eight great-grandchildren, Dallas and Marella Hunter, Michael Hunter, Jonathan Miller, Katie Miller, Carmen and Brian Rudisell, Isaac Alwine, Leeann Alwine and Emily Swain; and two great-great-grandchildren, Isaac Hunter and Tiffany Rudisell.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, and by her sister, Melva Boldt.

Private family funeral services will take place. Burial will be at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Granger, Indiana. The Rev. Alan O. Carson Sr. will be officiating at the services. Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, IN 46563, is handling the arrangements.
