Walter I. Henderson

SOUTH BEND — Walter I. Henderson, 83, of Klinger Street, died at 12:15 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Henderson retired as assistant vice president of National Bank, South Bend, He was born Feb. 7, 1909, in South Bend and was a life-long area resident.

On Feb. 20, 1937, in South Bend, he married Emma Sorberg. She died Feb. 5, 1992. Surviving is a sister, Mary Stanfield of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
