Adeline Golubski Blake, 88, of South Bend, Indiana died in the arms of her granddaughter Lauren, Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Hospice House in South Bend. Adeline was born on October 22, 1919 in South Bend, Indiana to Anthony and Harriett (Odynski) Golubski. She retired from the former Bendix Corporation in 1983 after 33 � years of service.

On October 4, 1941 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Adeline married Robert G. Blake who preceded her in death on September 2, 1969. Surviving is her daughter, Judith Ciesialka of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Robert J. (Jennifer) Ciesialka of Westfield, Indiana, Matthew T. Ciesialka of South Bend, Lauren A. Jones of South Bend; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, William, Elizabeth and Matthew Ciesialka; her sister, Rosemarie (DeWayne) Campbell of Escanaba, Michigan; sisters-in-law, Joan Golubski of South Bend, Mary Blake of Lafayette, Indiana, Alice Golubski of Granger, Indiana; and a dear friend, Dee Ciesialka of South Bend. Adeline was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Waters; brothers, Edward, Anthony, Theodore and Ralph Golubski; and great-grandchildren, Katherine and Ian Ciesialka.

Adeline was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where she was baptized, married and served her whole life, including the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary and Harvest House. She was a member of the Bendix Retirees Club, graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1937 and went to St. Stanislaus grade school, was an avid Notre Dame fan, loved to tend her gardens and was a wonderful cook. She was very proud of her daughter and grandchildren and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, South Bend with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
