Pearl C. (Peterman) Mechling

June 26, 1911 - March 6, 1998

Pearl C. Mechling, 86, died at 1:15 a.m. on Friday, March 6, at Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle, Ind., where she had been a resident. She was born on June 26, 1911, to Vern and Ida (Petcher) Peterman in South Bend, Ind. On March 5, 1933, she married Lloyd L. Mechling, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Hamilton; and by a brother, Frances Peterman.

Pearl is survived by a son, Jack (Suzy) Mechling of South Bend; one granddaughter, Marci of Jacksonville, Fla., and one grand-son, Matt of Bloomington, Ind.; and by a sister-in-law, Evelyn Peterman of South Bend. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at the the Guisinger Colonial Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, with a visitation at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton Grove, New Carlisle.
