John K. Heminger

John K. Heminger, 70, of 2602 Dawes Place, died at 6 p.m Wednesday in Saline Memorial Hospital, Benton, Ark., following an apparent heart attack He was born in German Twp., on Nov. 9, 1910, and had lived here all his life.

On Sept 29, 1934, be married Marie Wiley in Mishawaka, and she survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Erwin (Janet) Tobalski of Michigan City, Ind., three grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs. Vera Anderson of Lan-ham, Md., Mrs. Orville (Irma) White-head of Modesto, Calif., Mrs. Rowena Crump and Mrs. John (Blanche) Steinhoffer of South Bend, Mrs. Clyde Roberts of Elkhart and Mrs. Philip (Phyllis) McGehe of Cassopolis, and a brother, Howard, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on today in the Everett Ballard Funeral Home, where services will be at 11 am. on Saturday. Rev. Wilson S. Parks, assistant pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

He retired in 1975 after 46 years at the Northern Indiana Public Service Co. as assistant district service superintendent.
