SOUTH BEND - Eleanor Wrobel Morse, 100, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Sanctuary at Holy Cross. Eleanor was born on July 31, 1911, in South Bend, to Walter and Agnes (Jacoboski) Wrobel. In 1947 she married Joseph T. Morse. Joseph preceded her in death in 2008.

Her daughter, Mary J. Bohren, and her husband, Honorable Michael O. Bohren of Delafield, WI, survive Eleanor along with two granddaughters, Juliana R. Bohren of Waukesha, WI, and Katherine E. (Jeremy Smith) Bohren of Portland, OR.

Her sister, Sister M. Danielita C.S.C, preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and a member of the Christ Child Society; she graduated from Central High School in 1930 and she worked for Standard Oil, Manpower and Mutual of Omaha Insurance.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, March 1st, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church, 222 West Mishawaka Avenue, Mishawaka, where there will also be visitation on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the church. Monsignor Bruce Piechocki will officiate the services, with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery at Notre Dame. Memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, 702 Chapin Street, South Bend, IN 46601. The Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, is handling arrangements.
