William Arthur Carpenter

Funeral services were held on Friday for William A. Carpenter, age 60, of 4 Mott Road in Guilderland, a Business Teacher at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School for nine years. Mr. Carpenter died Tuesday at the Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, N.Y. following a long illness.

He was born in Utica, N.Y., he lived in Guilderland, N.Y. for many years.

Mr. Carpenter graduated from Notre Dame University.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; the former Catherine L. (Roderick) Carpenter, two daughters; Katherine and Susan Carpenter, both of Guilderland, his stepmother; Mrs. Frank Carpenter of Kissimmee, FIa., one sister; Mrs. Florence Fox of Florida, and two brothers; Charles of Pepper Pike, Ohio, and Robert Carpenter of Winter Park, Fla.

Burial was at the St. Patrick 's Cemetery in Port Henry, N.Y.
