EARL E. WHITING

.Ocala - Earl E. Whiting, born April 2, 1926 in South Bend, IN; died February 19, 2017 in Ocala, FL. Earl was a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church where he served as an Usher and in the Men's Fellowship. He retired from Bendix where he worked on the Apollo Project after 35 years of service in the Aerospace Industry. Then he went on to work at Cincinnati Electronics.

He married Dorothy J. Gardner in South Bend, IN in 1949.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Roland) King of Ocala, FL; brother, Harold (Betty) Whiting of South Bend, IN; sister-in-law, Norma Gardener.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 1:00 PM at Ocala West United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery with his late wife Dorothy.
