Services for Harry Putz, 74, of 1506 Medora St., who was found dead in his home Thursday, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 9 p.m. today in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 5:30 p.m.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church.  Mr. Putz was a factory worker with White Farm Equipment-Oliver Corp. for 42 years.

He was born Sept. 30, 1913, in South Bend and had lived in the area all of his life. On June 19, 1943, in South Bend, he married the former Edna Ludwiczak, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Maryrose of South Bend; a son, Thomas M. of Orlando, Ha.; a grandson; and a sister, Lorraine Kope of South Bend.
