MARY J. (MAHONEY) PARKS

SOUTH BEND - Mary J. Parks, 69, of South Bend, IN, died at 9:20 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at her home. She was born on September 7, 1943, in Marion, IN, to the late Joseph and Marion (Brockie) Mahoney.

In 1975, in South Bend, she married Dewey E. Parks, who survives. Along with her husband, Dewey, Mary is survived by her two sons, John Enders and Donald Parks of South Bend; stepdaughter, Martha (Michael) Robertson of Loxley, AL; three stepsons, Daniel Parks of Nashville, TN, Gary Parks and Frederick Parks, both of Syracuse, NY; 3 grandchildren; and her sister, Karen Evans of Akron, OH.

Three brothers, Adam, John and David Mahoney, all preceded her in death.

Mary attended South Bend Central High School.

She enjoyed shooting darts at Maroney's and solving word search puzzles.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, where friends may visit with the family from 12 noon Saturday until time of services.
