SOUTH BEND - Milton Katz, 93, a long-time resident of South Bend, died February 26, 2009 in Tallahassee, Florida.

He attended Colfax Elementary School, Muessel Jr. High, and Central High School.

Milt was a 1937 graduate of Notre Dame and the owner/operator of Milt's Grill in downtown South Bend. He and his wife, Bonnie, moved to Ft. Lauderdale shortly after he retired in 1981 and to Tallahassee in 2006.

Survivors include Bonnie, his wife of almost 67 years, and two daughters Gayle K. Morton and Nancy Katz.
