Frank was with the 4th Marine Raiders in Dec 1943,they disbanded, then ended up in the 2nd Bn, 4th Marines, 6th Marine Division, Killed in Action at Okinawa Island, Ryukyu Group 4th April, 1945 by GSW to the back by hostile enemy fire
