Arthur William “Bill” Fenzau, 88, of Brandon, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017, surrounded by his family. Bill was a kind, gentle, loving and caring husband and father. He provided a stable, supportive and loving home devoted to his family. Bill was born on August 29, 1929 in South Bend, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Jacquelyne ”Jackie” Jean.

He is survived by daughter, Barbara Heaton (Michael); son Michael Fenzau (Carol); son William Fenzau (Jill); 9 grandchildren: Nicole Gockley (Jeff) , Jeffrey Harris, Kristen Reed (Joel), Chelsey Fenzau, Megan Stewart (Tarron), William Fenzau, Brittani Luongo (Jonathan), Alyssa Harrell and Jarrett Harrell; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Bill graduated from Central High School in South Bend, IN. He attended Manatee Junior College in Bradenton and graduated with an Associate of Science Degree. His Bachelor Degree of Business was received at the University of Tampa.

Bill worked as a Lineman and Trouble man for Tampa Electric Company for 30 years. Prior to moving to Florida in 1965 he worked for the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company. When Bill and Jackie moved to Ruskin Florida he was active in the Ruskin Methodist Church as a head usher and church council member. He was a Scout Leader participating as a group leader on a trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He served in the Riverview DeSoto Masonic Lodge # 105 F. &A.M. for 52 years and held the position of Worshipful Master in 1971. Bill was the President of the South Hillsborough Lions 1980-81.

Before and after retirement, there were numerous camping trips throughout the United States as well as several trips overseas. Bill and Jackie enjoyed their beach get away on Indian Shores, FL. Where they spent many summers and retired there until they moved to Fish Hawk in Lithia, FL. Throughout his life Bill enjoyed swimming, biking, running and reading. He was a resident of Rosecastle at Delaney Creek and attended the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery 2323 W.
