Stanley R. Makowski

SOUTH BEND — Stanley R Makowski, it of S. Phillipa Street, died Monday morning in his home. Mr. Makowski retired from the Bendix Corp_ He was born Nov. 14, 1912. in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident He is survived by a brother. Henry of Mishawaka; two nieces and a nephew. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Pulaski Post 3$7, St. Joseph Young Men's Society and Bendix Local of the United Auto Workers union. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. 

Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. to-day in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
