Marvin A. Kraft July 30, 1918 - April 7, 2005 Marvin A. "Red" Kraft, 86, formerly of Miami Street, South Bend, IN, passed away at 9:22 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2005, in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend.

He was a sales representa-tive for Consolidated Cigar, based in New York, and worked in the northern Indiana and southern Michigan regions. He was born on July 30, 1918, in South Bend, IN, to Frank and Bertha (Engle) Kraft, and lived in this area all of his life. On March 4, 1942, in Oklahoma City, OK, he mar-ried Esther G. Rusk, who pre-ceded him in death on December 13, 1999. 

Mr. Kraft is survived by two nephews, Raymond Kraft of South Bend and Ronnie Kraft of Tulsa, OK; and two brothers, Richard Kraft of South Bend and Lester Kraft of Wildwood, Florida. One sister, Mildred Geyer, preceded him in death. Mr. Kraft was a member of First Methodist Church, South Bend, Golden Boys of Summer (Erskine Golf League) and was a World War II Air Force veteran.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2005, at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN.
