DOROTHY J. YOUNGSMA

SOUTH BEND - Dorothy Jean Youngsma, 81, of South Bend, passed away Saturday morning with her sister and friends by her side in Hospice House. She was born June 8, 1927, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, to the late Clarence and Jean McGregor Youngsma.

She is survived by her sister, Ruthann Youngsma of South Bend, and the Wade and Kelli Armentrout family, especially Curtis, Christopher and Colton Armentrout of South Bend, and friends, Verlin "Bud" and Alma Millage of South Bend.

She was a graduate from The South Bend Central High School.

Dorothy retired from the Indiana Bell Telephone Co. where she worked for 10 years, and was the secretary/treasurer of the Communication Workers of Indiana Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in South Bend. As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services and burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
