Beverly Jean Anderson Davis

SOUTH BEND - Beverly J. Davis, 82 of South Bend passed away Thursday morning in The Milton Home. She was born April 11, 1927, in South Bend to the late Robert and Helen (Bare) Anderson.

On May 11, 1946 she married Paul R. Davis who survives along with three daughters, Jeanne Rhodes (Michael) of South Bend, Carol Rippey (Patrick) of Tyler TX and Gail Poorman (William) oF Bloomington, IL; and four grandchildren, Tracy Rhodes, Todd (Angel) Rhodes, Becky Rippey, and Andy Poorman.

Beverly was a graduate of The South Bend Central High School in 1945. She and Paul were long time members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She belonged to Saint Joseph Chapter 569 Order of Eastern Star, the Avolon Grotto auxiliary and was a volunteer for 33 years at the American Red Cross. The Davis family would like to express their extreme gratitude for the thoughtful care Beverly received from 10 south at Memorial, the Milton Home and Southern Care.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 1st in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., with Rev. Timothy Knauff officiating and burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
