George W. Varga Jr.

George W. Varga Jr., 57, of Rt 1, Box 168, Birch Lake, Vandalia, died at 8:05pm Thursday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was supervisor of the design room and a die designer at Huckins Tool & Die Co Inc.

He was born on February 9, 1922, in South Bend where he lived until moving to Birch Lake seven years ago. On May 15, 1943, in Osceola, he married Rosemary T. Teeter who survives. Also surviving are two sons, George W. III and Philip, both of South Bend, four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Toth and Mrs. Annabelle Sanders, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am (EST) Monday at St Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Wendel, CSC, pastor, officiating. Friends may call form 2 to4 and 7 to9pm Sunday at the Hollis Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, where the rosary will be recited at 7pm Sunday. Varga was a member of St Ann’s Catholic Church, Cassopolis

VARGA – Services for George W. Varga Jr, 57, of Rt !, Vandalia, who died Thursday night in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness, will be at 10am Monday at St Joseph’s Catholic Church. Rev. Paul Wendel, CSC, pastor, assisted by Rev. Joseph Egan, pastor of ST Ann’s Catholic Church, Cassopolis, will officiate.
