Lillian D. Wunder, 82, of South Bend, passed through this life at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2005, in the Southfield Village Health Care Facility. She was born on April 15, 1923, in South Bend, to Steven and Marie Solnoky. Her parents and three sisters, Mary Thomas, Rose Wiltfong and Elizabeth Ball, preceded her in death.

On October 17, 1953, in South Bend, she married Duane A. Wunder Sr., who also preceded her in death on March 18, 1992. Lillian graduated from South Bend Central High School. She retired from the Credit Bureau in 1988 after five years of service. She was a member of the Center Township Fire Department Auxiliary.

Lillian is survived by three daughters, Susan (Rick) Yates of Powder Springs, GA, Mary Wunder and Georgana Wunder, both of South Bend; and by two sons, Duane (Dawn) Wunder and David (Kelly) Wunder, both of South Bend. She is lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, Benjamin, Jacob, Holly, Derek, Heather, Jennifer, Joshua, Matthew, Bradley and Lisa.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 23, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, with Rev Vito Rulli, pastor of Lakeville Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. today in the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 300 N. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46601; or to Lakeside Baptist Church, 515 Michigan Trail, Lakeville, IN 46536.
