SOUTH BEND - Edward A. Sidorowicz passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, October 17th, at Southfield Village, while recovering from a heart attack. Rest in peace.

Edward was born March 12, 1923, in South Bend, IN. He gradated from South Bend Central High School and went on to serve his country, enlisting in the Army and serving during WW II in the South Pacific. Before leaving for the war, he married Josephine Solamon, who preceded him in death in 1983.

They had four children: John of Granger, IN, James of Columbus, IN, and Mary Ann of South Bend, IN, and a son, Edward, who passed away in 2002. His second wife, Esther Stoldony, also preceded him. He founded and was co-owner of Sid's Plumbing and Heating with his brother Albin Sidorowicz for 50 years before retiring. Edward was also blessed with nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Edward was proud of his family, a hard-working man with deep religious convictions. May he now be at peace with God. There will be a memorial Mass at St. Casimir Church on Monday, October 29, at noon. Please send no flowers; donations will be accepted for St. Casimir Church.
