Robert O. Schultz

Robert O. Schultz, 77, residing at 820 Lincolnway West, Mishawaka, Ind., formerly of the Park Jefferson Apartments, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov 9, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Mr. Schultz was born on July 14, 1921, in South Bend, to the late Otto and Mathilde Schultz, and has been a lifelong resident of the South Bend - Mishawaka community. He was preceded in death by his parents; and by two sisters, Margaret Frederick and Louise Devereaux. On Nov. 2, 1946, in South Bend, he married Benita R. Dickens. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years; two sons, Lann R. Schultz of South Bend, and Rann R. Schultz of San Francisco, Calif.; and by a sister, Elsie (Mrs. Edward) Hoffman of South Bend. 

He retired in December 1976 from the Associates Investment Company of North America following 36 years of employment where he served as a programmer. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II.

Private graveside services will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, in Riverview Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Contributions in memory of Mr. Schultz may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637. The Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, is handling funeral arrangements for the Schultz Family.
