John D. Mason
John D. Mason, 60, of Key West, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 4 p.m. Sunday in Florida Keys Memorial Hospital, Key West, after a brief illness. He was born March 6, 1922 in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of his life until moving to Florida 10 years ago.
He is survived by two children; a sister, Mrs. James F. (Abigail) Keller of Cassopolis; and a brother, Lewis D. Mason, of South Bend.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Portage Chapel at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Donald Neely, pastor of Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, officiating. There will be no visitation. The McGann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
