Mishawaka. IN— John A Daniels, 79. of Whispering Oak Dr, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in his residence at 3 30 p.m. Monday. Mr. Daniels was born in South Bend on December 16. 1921 to Stanley and Mary Ann (Werwass) Daniels On August 1. 1974 in Mishawaka. he married Doris S (Autore) Daniels who survives of Mishawaka John retired in January of 1982 after 42 years of service as a Supervisor in the Tool Room at the Bendix Corporation

His two daughters survive, along with his wife, they are Susan M (Bud who died 2/98) Coffman of Mishawaka and Kathleen A (Thomas) Herrman. Mishawaka.Other survivors include five grand-children Christian M. Coffman. Andrew M. (Rebecca) Herrman. Brian S (Jenifer) Coffman, Jennifer (Douglas) Herrman-Williamson, and Tony Herrman. Three great-grandchildren also survive Drew Ryan Herrman, Michael Thomas Herrman and Marione Lynn Herrman. A niece Beckey (Donald) Sramek of Granger, Ind.

Services will be Thursday, April 19. 2001. at 10:00 a m. at the McGann Funeral Homes, University Area Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Rd. near Ironwood, with Rev Donald Neely. of First Presbyterian Church, South Bend. officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. , today, April 18, at McGann's. Memorial donations may be made in John's memory to Bethphaege, Inc., 6910 N. Main St., Unit 4, Granger, IN 46530

As a member of Four Lakes Country Club much of his and Doris' life has revolved around their love of golf and the many leagues they played in with their friends over the past 30 years. He was also a member of the Bendix Senior Management Club, and the American Legion Post. He was a World War II Navy Veteran.
