Valerie Marie (Eazol) Bratton

TIPPECANOE—Valerie M. Bratton, 56, of 19434 Elm Road, Tippecanoe, died at 11:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 1992, at Life Care Center, Rochester, following a lengthy illness.

She was a Tippecanoe resident for the last 20 years, and also had lived in the South Bend area. She was a homemaker and employed at NIPSCO of South Bend prior to 1965.

She was born Aug. 25, 1936, in South Bend, to George M. and Catherine (Madar) Eazol. She was married on June 30, 1956, to Harold Bratton. He survives. Also surviving are: One daughter, Mrs. Kathy (Richard) Hershberger of Rochester; one son, David Bratton at home; and one brother, George Eazol of Titusville, Fla. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Laureen in 1961.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Deaton Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Rev. David Gould officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Cemetery, Tippecanoe. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Country Church of Bourbon.
