Janice Elaine Nuehring Trethewey, 87, passed away on August 29 with her sons at her side. She was born on May 3, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana to Margaret Nyers Day (1914-1983) and Fred Allen Day (1907-1972). After graduating from Central High School in 1954, she moved to Chicago to attend The Patricia Stevens Career College and Finishing School.
