Russell Carder Kuehl II, 85, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Monday July 25, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 4, 1937 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Russell Carder and Mary (Moore) Kuehl. Carder is survived by one daughter, Kimberlee Kay (Edmundo) Daughtry-Lopez of San Antonio, Texas, one son, Chris (Sarah) Kuehl of Minneapolis, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, Joshua Daughtry, Monica Eicher, Patrick Kuehl, Caleb Daughtry, Lauren Kuehl, Juliana Kuehl, Micah Daughtry and Kyle Kuehl, one great grandchild, Liam Daughtry and one brother James (Joyce) Kuehl of South Bend, Indiana.

Carder Kuehl is a lifelong resident of South Bend, Indiana. He attended Central High School and Indiana University. He enjoyed his work in the Insurance Industry for 40 years. He loved boating on Lake Michigan. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan. Carder enjoyed reading, jazz music, and liked to watch James Bond movies.

A visitation will be held on Thursday July 28, 2022 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 12:00 until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Russell will be buried next to his parents at a later date in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to AseraCare Hospice, 5405 N.
